I’m David Brown. 50 year old Englishman living in the lovely English  county of Norfolk. You will find me trading on eBay under the guise blackdragoncollectables. I buy and sell plastic, lead and composition figures. Soldiers, civilians and animals as well as scenery, leaflets and books. I also collect Japanese toys.

My interest in toy figures has grown steadily over the last few years and I wanted to develop a site that could be used to provide some information to people about the hobby and the sort of figures and makers that are collected. To be honest its a very big subject and I’m not going to be able to cover it all myself but I’ll try and provide some good links to sites that specialise in a particular area and can provide more in-depth coverage. I’ll pen some regular articles that will cover makers, specific figures, history, materials, books and periodicals and eventually showcase some collections in time.
